Trustees

At Our Redeemer, our Trustees are warm, dedicated volunteers who pour their hearts into keeping our church home beautiful, safe, and welcoming for every generation—from our littlest newborns to our cherished seniors.

With joyful generosity, our Trustees ensure:

  • Our lawns stay neatly trimmed and blooming through the warm Rhode Island summers,
  • Walkways and parking areas are quickly cleared after snowy New England winters—so Sunday mornings are always stress-free and safe,
  • Our building shines with fresh paint and spotless cleanliness, creating a bright and inviting space where families love to gather,
  • Everything is thoughtfully insured and fully compliant with local guidelines, giving us all peace of mind.

These caring servants work quietly behind the scenes so that when you walk through our doors (whether you're a longtime member or visiting for the first time), you’re greeted by a warm, well-cared-for space that says, “You belong here.”

We’re a vibrant, family-focused congregation of about 300 members from Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut, and nearby Massachusetts—full of young families, laughing children, and wise grandparents—all growing together in faith as part of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod.

Come experience the warmth for yourself! We’d love to welcome you and your family at Our Redeemer—there’s always room for one more at the table.

He rebuilt it and covered it and set its doors, its bolts, and its bars. And he built the wall of the Pool of Shelah of the king's garden, as far as the stairs that go down from the city of David.

Recycle Ink at Our Redeemer!
Recycle Ink at ORELC!

Recycling is rewarding and with the help of our office supplies vendor Staples, Our Redeemer Church will earn credits for ink and toner cartridges returned to their store by our Office Administrator.

Please bring your empty cartridges to church and place them in the marked narthex box near the church mail bin. ORELC receives money credits for cartridge returns each month. You can help the church while helping the environment, so please consider our ink recycling program next time your printer ink runs low!

Ways You Can Serve
Clean Team Ministry

We are incredibly blessed to have four dedicated Clean Teams at Our Redeemer! These folks maintain all the rooms and hallways that Our Redeemer uses from the Sanctuary to the classrooms to the bathrooms.

If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please know that you can give as much or little time as your schedule allows, but usually only one or two hours per month.

Please speak with any Trustee, or email trustees@orelc.org to inquire about this volunteer opportunity.
