“Here am I! Send me.” – Isaiah 6:8
At Our Redeemer, Missions & Service is the joyful way we live out our faith together. Guided by the three pillars of Witness, Life Together, and Mercy, we proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, care for one another, and extend Christ’s love to our neighbors—both near and far.
Whether it’s welcoming a young family with a Busy Bag, packing Thanksgiving baskets for local families in need, or supporting Lutheran missionaries halfway around the world, everything we do flows from the truth that Christ is at the center, leading us, sustaining us, and keeping us focused.
Witness
We reach out to the churched and unchurched alike with the life-changing Good News of salvation in Jesus, offering everyone in our congregation opportunities to share their faith through evangelism, outreach, and in-reach.
“For there are three that testify: the Spirit and the water and the blood; and these three agree.” – 1 John 5:7-8
Life Together
We grow as a Christ-centered family, serving and encouraging one another across every generation—from newborns to seniors.
“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” – 1 Corinthians 1:9
Mercy
With grateful hearts we share our time, talents, and treasures to help those who are hurting, hungry, or in crisis—right here in northern Rhode Island and around the globe.
“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” – Mark 10:45
